- A number of comedy scenes have now been added to the film
- As many films flopped, many producer-directors realized that their current film would not work
Ajay Devgn's film Thank God has been delayed due to Corona. Post-production work was going on after the shooting was completed late after Corona, but now it has been decided to add more comedy scenes by making several changes in the script at the last minute.
As one after the other films started flopping in Bollywood, the confidence of the well known producer directors has been shaken. He has realized that the film he is currently making is not going to work at the box office. Hence he has started running for last minute changes.
Thank God movie is directed by Indrakumar Irani. It stars actors including Rakul Preet and Siddharth Malhotra.
Ajay Devan and Indra Kumar have previously come together for a comedy film like Ishq. Hence, Thank God was also believed to be a comedy film in the beginning. However, later it was claimed by the film's team that this film will be different from Indra Kumar's other films.
On the other hand, some sources wondered about the massive changes in the film's script and the possibility of reshoots. He said that the film is already in post-production and now if there is a re-shoot with other actors at this stage, the release schedule on Diwali will be disturbed. After Diwali and in the coming year as well, Bollywood's release calendar has started getting tight to such an extent that it will be difficult to find a good date for Thank God. Hence, the makers will try to safely release such a light comedy type film during the Diwali vacation itself.
