The OTT platform bought the rights of Akshay Kumar's 'Cuttputlli' for so many crores

Actor Akshay Kumar's three films back to back have flopped at the box office. Bachchan Pandey, Samrat Prithviraj and then Rakshabandhan these three films did not perform well at the box office and now Akshay Kumar's fourth film 'Kathaputli' is ready for release. Filled with a serial killer murder mystery, the film depicts the story of Kasauli. Which is directed by Ranjit M Tiwari. Who has previously done the film 'Bell Bottom' with Akshay Kumar.

Deal done for 180 crore rupees?

The film will release on September 2 on Disney Plus Hotstar. According to a report, a deal of Rs 180 crore has been made for the direct OTT release of the film. The report said that Rs 135 crore has been charged for the film and Rs 45 crore for music etc. Although the official information about this has not come out yet, this is only a report. Rakul Preet Singh and Sargun Mehta will also be seen in important roles in the film.
