James Cameron is a mad genius!

- Shishir Ramawat

'Yes, today I don't have any tension to decide what clothes to wear. Last Friday's talk has to be carried forward, so the look has to be repeated...' Bollywood boy aka Bobo makes the entry with a faint smile. He has assumed the same blue avatar today, just like the characters in James Cameron's 'Avatar' series. He says, 'Look, most movies are just movies, but some special movies become 'events'. When a Hollywood super filmmaker like James Cameron is coming up with the second part of 'Avatar', 'The Way of Water', it is considered an event of mainstream world cinema and...'

Bobo, come straight to the point instead of making a long introduction! You say dumbfounded.

'Alright then, here I go...' Bobo gulps and you get ready to hear the second half of the avatar story...

When the first part of 'Avatar' was released in 2009, what did James Cameron say when he visited India in 2013, do you know? 'I have a strong fascination with Hindu mythology,' says Cameron Uwach, 'so while making 'Avatar', I unconsciously took references from Hindu mythology. For example, Lord Krishna is blue. I have shown the demi-humans inhabiting the planet Navi as blue, perhaps unconsciously referring to Krishna.'

wow Cameronbhai had a little tension that the religious sentiments of Hindus will be hurt somewhere? Fortunately nothing happened. Rather, everyone is happy to know that a creator of the caliber of James Cameron is influenced by Sri Krishna. Cameron is not only a vegetarian, but a strict vegan, which means he stays away from milk, milk products and leather. We have already seen in 'Avatar' part one that he is a staunch environmentalist. The people of the planet Na'vi are shown to be extremely protective of their natural resources. James Cameron is truly a madman. In order to bring his cinematic ideas to life on screen, this man keeps developing new technologies, which are then used by filmmakers all over the world.

Did you know that this man traveled 35,892 feet (or 10.94 kilometers) below sea level to a place known as the Mariana Trench in the Pacific Ocean as part of research for 'Avatar: The Way of Water'? This is the extreme of the earth's subsoil. It is not possible to go below this. (For comparison, Everest is 29,032 feet above sea level!) The last time a black-headed man ventured this deep into the ocean was in the 1960s. Then James Cameron, the first man to touch the lowest point of the earth! A specially designed 25ft long submarine-type vehicle in which James Cameron was all alone! What if Narayan had some technical problem at such a terrible depth of the sea? What if there was an accident? James Cameron risked his life at the age of 57. (He is now 68 years old.) Of course, he had prepared for seven years before embarking on this venture. It was his lifelong dream to go to the bottom of the sea, which he realized as part of his research for 'Avatar: The Way of Water'. This is called Mad Genius, indeed! James Cameron has a huge obsession with the ocean. Remember his 'Abeez' and 'Titanic' films.

one minute. Being an adventurer and being a storyteller are very different things. The funny thing is that James Cameron can do as much crazy adventures as he does amazing storytelling. He employed four writers to write the stories and screenplays for the three sequels of 'Avatar'. Two of these were solo writers and one was a duo. James Cameron was very clear that even though the three sequels were independently distinct films, the basic plot and philosophical themes should flow consistently through all the films. He called all the writers and said that we will brainstorm together for these three sequels. It was decided that everyone would write one film each, but James Cameron did not say which sequel would be written by which writer. Once the structure of the epic encompassing the three sequels was in place, James Cameron cracked down on who had which film.

A year passed after the entire script of the first sequel 'Avatar: The Way of Water' was written. James Cameron read the script and rejected it. why? Because at the subconscious level in the storyline, there must be subtle things happening, which were not happening in this final draft! At one point, James Cameron challenged all four writers that if you can't write a perfect screenplay, he will fire them all! He said, 'Why are you guys making new stories for sequels? Find out first the concrete reasons why the first part of 'Avatar' was so successful!

It took a total of four years to write the screenplay for the three sequels! Satisfactory screenplays of all three sequels were locked in February 2017 and then the talk went ahead. In the same year, James Cameron said that if 'Avatar' part two and part three could not do the expected box office collection, then 'Avatar' part four and five would have to be postponed. However, 'Avatar' fans need not stress. After the three sequels, the script of the fourth sequel has also been locked and the work of all the sequels of 'Avatar' is progressing almost simultaneously. Also know the tentative release dates of all these films of the 'Avatar' series: 'Avatar: The Way of Water' - 16 December 2022, 'Avatar-Three' - 20 December 2023, 'Avatar-Four' - 18 December 2026 and 'Avatar-Five' ' - 22 December 2028!

This is called patience, this is called loyalty and this is called planning!

Awesome, awesome... you say.

'Give me one more interesting detail as I go? An Indian named as art director of 'Avatar: The Way of Water' - Asrita Kamath!' Saying this, the Bollywood boy takes the exit jumping and chanting 'Jay Cameron... Jay Cameron...'.
