Pathan movie controversy: SP chief Akhilesh Yadav comes in support of Shah Rukh Khan

Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan is in discussion about his upcoming film 'Pathan'. However, 'Pathan' is facing a lot of trolls on social media. Users are expressing their displeasure over the recently released 'Besharam Rang' song. Deepika Padukone has worn a saffron colored dress in this song, which has created a stir. Deepika is protesting in this song by wearing a saffron colored bikini. People have been trolling Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in different ways and have been calling for a boycott of the film, saying a lot.

Posters of the film are being burnt accusing 'Pathan' of insulting the color saffron. But, in the meantime, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has come in support of Shah Rukh Khan. He has supported it by sharing a post on Twitter. SP president Akhilesh Yadav shared a post by Shah Rukh Khan on his Twitter, which read- 'Negativity fuels social media usage and thus reinforces its collective narrative, which makes social media divisive and destructive. Cinema is in the best position to maintain a counter-narrative.
