Director Anil Sharma revealed about the budget of the film 'Gadar 2'

Actor Sunny Deol starrer 'Gadar 2' is creating havoc at the box office. This film has already entered the 400 crore club. 'Gadar 2' is the second Hindi film in the history of Indian cinema to cross this mark. On the other hand, the film has crossed 500 crores worldwide. Anil Sharma, the director of the film which earned a bumper at the box office, has made a shocking revelation about the budget of the film in a recent interview.

Anil Sharma meanwhile said that people thought that Anil Sharma will not make this film. Sunny Deol's film is not running. Exaltation is new. Simrat and Manish Wadhwa were not associated with the project at that time. People felt that I am making this film for my son. But 'Gadar' is a brand. This is the reason, we did not budget much for this film. We have made this film in just 60 crores. When people are talking about a 600 crore film.

Anil Sharma further said that he had a lot of faith in the brand of 'Gadar'. And he recalled the time when Gadar Ek Prem Katha was released in 2001. He said that the number of Ghadar viewers was about 17.5 crore. I am sure, 5 crore people out of them would still like to watch Ghadar. That's why I was not ready to make any kind of compromise with the story of the film. We wanted the audience to connect with the story we created. That's why it took us so many years to make this film.

Talking about the earnings of 'Gadar 2', this film has done a business of around 522 crores worldwide so far. The film is constantly creating new records at the box office.
