In this category, the best feature film is honored with a prize money of two and a half lakh rupees, the Indira Gandhi Award with a prize money of 1 lakh 25 thousand rupees, and the best children's film with an award money of one and a half lakh rupees. On the other hand, non-feature films are given an amount of 50 thousand or 75 thousand with Rajat Kamal.
