The 69th National Film Awards were conferred this year for significant contribution to the Indian film industry. Let's know who received these awards.
Wahida Rahman:
Veteran actress Wahida Rahman was honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award this year. Wahida Rehman, who has served the silver screen for six decades, was awarded this highest honor of Indian cinema by the President of the country, Draupadi Murmu.
Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon:
Both the actresses were honored with the National Film Award for Best Actress for their outstanding performances. Alia Bhatt was given the award for 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' and Kriti Sanon for 'Mimi'.
Pallavi Joshi:
The veteran actress was awarded the National Film Award for 'Best Supporting Actress' for 'The Kashmir Files'.
Shreya Ghoshal:
The singer was felicitated with the 'Best Female Playback Singer' award for singing heart touching songs like 'Teri Mitti..' from 'Kesari'.
Preetisheel Singh:
Make-up artist Preetisheel Singh, who did the best job of giving actress Alia Bhatt a complete new look in 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', was awarded the 'Best Makeup Artist' award. Preetishital Singh used prosthetics, wigs, lenses and cosmetics to give Alia a makeover.
Veer Kapoor:
Veer Kapoor won the 'Best Costume Designer' award for 'Sardar Udham'.
