Chunky Pandey recalls the bittersweet memories of his career: from fire to fire

There are ups and downs in the careers of some Bollywood actors. Chunky Pandey is such an artist in the Hindi film world. In the 80's, Chunky Pandey was considered a successful star of Bollywood and played funny roles with big stars.

However, after 19 years, the same Chunky Pandey came back and almost stopped getting films. However, Chunky Pandey was warmly welcomed by Bangladeshi films and became a big star there. Now, Chunky Pandey has made a strong effort to revive his career by playing slightly different roles in two Bollywood films, Prasthan and Saho.

Chunky Pandey (Chunky's real name is Suyash Pandey) who made his Bollywood debut with the film 'Aag Hi Aag' on the 19th, recalls his old and funny memories, saying, 'I had a few bad omens during this very first film of mine. The forced strike was declared. As a result, shooting of all the films was stopped. Also, any big banner and big star films that were being shot were blacklisted. At that time, my first film, Aag Hi Aag, was being shot in Bengaluru. Now, if the shooting of our film is stopped, the producer was worried about huge financial loss. Hi Aag had my senior actors like Dharmendraji and Shatrughan Sinhaji in the film.

Also, the whole situation became worrisome as other films of these two big actors were also being shot. The big question was who would point a finger at big actors like Dharamji and Shatruji and tell them not to shoot. That is, I was banned from working in films. However, our filmmaker Pahelaj Nihalani had important discussions with some people in Bollywood. As a result, a settlement was reached and the shooting of the films resumed. Fortunately, my first film, Aag Hi Aag, was released and was well received by the audience. I was red with resignation.

The danger is that Chunky, who plays funny characters in successful films like Khiladi, Ghar Ka Chirag and Vishwatma, makes a very important point. I remember very well that Govinda was initially invited for the superhit film Tezab. Invitations were received in films. That means Govinda was very busy and did not have enough dates for the acid film. Tejab's director and writer N. Chandra wanted a lot of dates for the film at once. Finally, Anil Kapoor got the role of Tejab's Munna and I got the role of Munna's friend Babban. I was happy that N. Chandra gave me such an important role as Babban.

Chunky Pandey recalls, "After the shooting of the song 'Tezabna So Gaya Hai Jahan', Anil Kapoor and I went to a coffee shop in a five star hotel at exactly three o'clock in the morning. We were both very hungry. However, who knows why the manager of the coffee shop Joey was staring at both of us. Not only that, the manager even asked us to call a doctor for you? We were both very surprised but then realized that the manager was very worried because we were wearing bloody clothes.

Chunky, who also starred in the Housefull film series (1,2,3,8), says that the songs in the film Tezab were superhits. So Gaya Hai Jahan, Ek Do Teen Char Paanch and Gina Nahin etc. were superhits. It so happened that the music director of Tezab film Laxmikant-Pyarelal Main Tera Tota Tu Meri Maina was preparing to record a song. Lakshmi-Pyare composed this song with the inspiration of Marathi song Java Naveen Popat Ha. However, at the same stage, Pahelaj Nihalani and I reminded her that we had shot this song for the film Paap Ki Duniya. Made a new tune of the song. Just one, two, three, four songs made a big fuss all over India at that time. At that time, there was a long line in Mumbai cinemas to watch and listen to this song.

Following the superhit success of Tezab, Chunky Pandey's name and place became strong in Bollywood. That is, Chunky got two films, Paap Ki Duniya and Mitti Aur Sona. Chunky Pandey got very busy. As a result, he got a selfish film, Govinda. There weren't enough dates so I had to refuse.

Eventually Govinda and Chunky Pandey worked together in the film Aankhe. Aankhe was also a superhit success.

Chunky Pandey recalls old times, "I was in Los Angeles, USA in 2008. At that time, the shooting of the fucking love film was also taking place there. The producer of the film Sajid Nadiadwala had approached me for two scenes in his film. He also gave me a designer shoot. However, I realized that since I don't have a work visa from America, I can't work in a fucking love film. Couldn't do the scenes. When I finally went to give the shoot back to Sajid, he told me, "Keep this shoot with you for my new film. You have to work in my new film."

Chunky Pandey has also acted in the Housefull film series (1,2,3,8). It is a great pleasure for Chunky to work in this whole series and for the character named Akharipasta.

Chunky Pandey has played the role of a villain in the film Saho for the first time in his career. Chunky says, I prepared myself for the role of the villain in the movie Saho. To be honest, even if I was not shooting in Ramoji Rao's studio, I would talk angrily to the people around me. I would prepare myself for the role of that villain by behaving badly. . According to Bollywood sources, Chunky Pandey is also coming in two new films.

"I would really like to play the role of my daughter Ananya's father," says Chunky.

I have a lot of love and pride for both my daughters (Ananya and Rayasa). Is. I really hope that Reyasa will become a rock star in the future.
