Actor Faraz Khan dies at 46

Faraz Khan acted in films like Fareb and Mehdi in the 80's. He passed away at the age of 6. He had been ill for a long time. He had an infection in his brain. He was being treated at Vikram Hospital in Bangalore. He had been in critical condition for some time and was admitted to the ICU ward. He breathed his last on Wednesday after losing the battle against Faraz Zindagi. Faraz is the son of character artist Yuf Khan. He worked with Rami Mukherjee in 19th Mehdi, Fareb, Prithvi and Dilne Phir Yaad Kiya.

Faraz's health had deteriorated over the past year. He had a cough complaint after which he got a chest infection. The infection spread from the chest to the brain.

The sad news of Faraz's demise was shared by Pooja Bhatt on Twitter. "I have to say with a heavy heart that Faraz has left us forever," he wrote. However, he has gone to a better place. I thank all those who helped and prayed for him in his time of need when he was most in need. No one can fill the vacancy left by Faraz's death.

Faraz's treatment was hampered by economic hardship. Her family sought help from a federated website. Rs 3 lakh was needed for his treatment. After this Salman Khan came forward and helped to pay all the medical bills of Faraz.

"We will be forever grateful to Salman Khan," said Fahman, Faraz's younger brother. God keeps them happy and gives them long life.
