Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut's reaction to the incident in Ajanla, Amritsar, Punjab has also come to the fore. Kangana Ranaut tweeted, "What I predicted two years ago is happening in Punjab today. For which several cases were registered against me, arrest warrants were also issued. My car was attacked in Punjab but what I said happened. Now is the time that the non-Khalistani Sikhs should make their position and intentions clear.
Kangana commented on the farmers' movement
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut commented on the farmers' movement. Kangana said about Mahinder Kaur, an old woman living in Bahadurgarh Jandia village of Bathinda, that women are taking part in farmers' agitation by taking 100 rupees each. After which a defamation case was filed on behalf of Mahinder Kaur and a warrant was also issued by the Bathinda court.
Amidst all this, when Kangana was on her way from Shimla to Chandigarh, farmers surrounded her at the Punjab-Himachal border. The farmers asked Kangana to apologize for her comments about farmers' agitation and women. But the police intervened and removed Kangana from there.
Clashes broke out between the police and supporters of Amritpal Singh
Waris Punjab Day Clashes with police after the arrest of Lovepreet Singh, aide of Chief Amritpal Singh In Punjab on Thursday, February 23, supporters of Lance Amritpal Singh attacked the police with guns and swords demanding the release of Lovepreet Singh, in which 6 policemen were also injured. After which Lovepreet Singh has been released. An application was given by the Punjab Police, that the case registered against Lovepreet Tufan was not present at the time of the incident. After which the court ordered the release of Lovepreet Tufan.
