Spy Movies: Spying with Patriotism

New and fun experiments are taking place in Bollywood. The new generation of directors and actors are creating films with special themes and strong stories. At the same time, the new generation of educated-savvy viewers also welcomes such new films.

To put it bluntly, Bollywood is now producing spy films with modern technology. Uri: The Surgical Strike, Razi and now Ro. Uri: The superhit success of the film The Surgical Strike has changed the equations of Bollywood. Even in Razi, India's daughter marries the son of a high-ranking military official to spy on the enemy country Pakistan.

However, Samadhibi is the first film on the subject of espionage in India. Over time, spy films like Farz (Jitendra-18), Aankhe (Dharmendra-19), Suraksha (Mithun Chakraborty-18) and Agent Vinod (Mahendra Sandhu-18) were also made. However, Dev Anand also indirectly played the role of a spy in the film Jewel Thief.

However, the number of films with such espionage stories is low. In the 70's and 80's, romantic films became very popular in Bollywood. The biggest limitation of Bollywood is that very little is written on the subject of espionage. Rarely is it written. Also, very few producers-directors are willing to make such films because even if the film fails, it will cost them millions. There are very few heroes who look like real spies on screen.

The hero playing the role of a spy should also have the qualities of a spy like swiftness, alertness, sharp intellect, success even in challenging circumstances, amazing ability to hide his identity even in the midst of enemies and physical ability etc. At the same time, there must be modern equipment and technology for such espionage.

On the other hand, the screenplay of the spy films released today in 2016 is based on a true incident. At the same time, it has the color of patriotism. The hero-heroines of such films are new and yet look like real spies on screen. It also has modern tools and technology for espionage. This means that spy films are being made better in Bollywood today and are being welcomed by the audience.

The funny thing is that some time ago, the Indian Air Force carried out a massive attack on an extremist base in Balakot, Pakistan, wiping out about 200 militants. Pakistan was hit hard. Surgical Strike 2.0 and House the Josh? It is learned that names like etc. have also been registered.

Informed sources at the box office say that today's films have a story of espionage with patriotism and are well received by the educated and discerning audience of the new generation. Razi and Uri are strong examples of this.

The story of John Abraham's film Ro was also based on the life of a brave spy named Bharatnarvindra Kaushik.

Thus films like Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, Baby, Aiyari, Naam Shabana etc. are also based on the subject of espionage. However, informed sources in Bollywood say that this type of film which has a bit of truth in its script and has been groomed in a well-received manner has been widely welcomed by the audience. Now there are indications that a special tradition of such spy films is starting in Bollywood.
