Mumbai: Anupam Kher's wife and actress as well as MP Kiran Kher is currently suffering from blood cancer. The bone marrow transplant surgery was performed at Kokila Bahen Hospital in Mumbai on Thursday. Which lasted three hours.

Kiran Kher has been undergoing treatment for cancer at Kokilaben Hospital for the last five months. He was admitted to the same hospital. Where attempts were made to remove the bones associated with their bone marrow cancer. The surgery was started on May 9 at 7.30 am and lasted for about three hours. Meanwhile, her husband and actor Anupam Kher were present at the hospital.

However, no information about his health has been released so far.

It may be mentioned that Anupam Kher along with her son Sikandar released a statement that Kiran Kher has a type of blood cancer. His treatment is ongoing. 6-year-old Kiran Kher was diagnosed with blood cancer due to a fracture in her left arm in Chandigarh. A medical examination of how the fracture occurred revealed that he had multiple myeloma.
