Mumbai: Bollywood celebrities are mostly associated with the schemes of the Central and State Governments. Even before this many superstars have become brand ambassadors of government schemes. Currently, Sanjay Dutt has become the brand ambassador of Arunachal Pradesh.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Assembly Speaker Pasang Sona Dorji announced the appointment of Sanjay Dutt as the brand ambassador. Sanjay Dutt reached Dibugarh on a private plane and then reached Mechuka Valley by helicopter on Monday afternoon.

A campaign has been launched by shooting a video on the occasion. In which Sanjay Dutt is seen as a youth icon, nature lover, symbol of detoxification. The campaign aims to boost tourism in the state. Along with this, Sanjay Dutt will also work with local youth for de-addiction. The government is also trying to eradicate the problem as it is on the rise in the state.
