- 'I am going to work with SS Rajamouli for the first time. For me this is equal to realization. Doing one film with him is equal to doing 25 films. '
South Indian actor Mahesh Babu, who has given four successful films in a row, is now flying on the seventh sky. He says that since I have been working as an actor for the past four years, I have struggled to choose the right script. Of course, I feel lucky to be offered good films. And want this status to remain forever so that I can grow well as an artist.
However, Mahesh Babu is upset that the last two years have been very tough due to the corona epidemic. He says that we all went through constant uncertainty during this time. During this time the lockdown was brought. At the same time, Nitnawa rules were enforced. Naturally, it became difficult to maintain enthusiasm towards one's work. But the interesting thing is that everyone adapted to the situation and continued their work. Today we are tasting its sweet fruits.
Mahesh Babu, however, utilized the lockdown time instead of wasting it. He says that I suddenly got so much free time that I used that time to focus on my fitness. I didn't know how to swim. I always wanted to learn to swim. And shortly before the lockout we got a swimming pool so I started learning to swim on my own. I also enjoyed it a lot. Also, swimming has improved my fitness in childhood.
After recently returning from a vacation in Europe with his family, Mahesh Babu is gearing up to start work on his next film with director Trivikram. He says besides this I am going to work with SS Rajamouli for the first time. For me this is equal to realization. Doing one film with him is equal to doing 25 cinemas. Of course, you have to work hard for it. However, I am in a hurry to do a film with him. Actually this movie will release all over India. In my opinion we are crossing the line of being attached to a single film industry. Today our work is seen by people all over the country.
However, this story of Mahesh Babu is surprising. His statement is like licking his own spit. Needless to say, Mahesh Babu had said in a press conference held for the Telugu film 'Nmejar' some time ago that I am getting many offers for Hindi films, but I can't afford Bollywood. So I don't want to waste my time. The stardom and respect that I am getting from Telugu cinema, I will never get in Hindi film industry. He further said that the unimaginable success of South Indian films like 'KGF', 'RRR' and 'Pushpa' has left the Hindi film industry worried. Of course, it's a golden age for actors right now and I think we've all reached a point where the lines between different film industries are blurring. We are moving towards becoming a huge film industry. I am glad that we have great cross-cultural content coming out.
The actor now wants to watch movies only on 70 mm screen. He says that OTT seemed very exciting at the initial stage. On this forum you will find a lot of content in different languages. I myself have watched so much content on OTT in different languages during the lockdown that it seems like it's all mixed up in the brain. Now slowly this enthusiasm is waning. I feel it is consuming a lot of my time. So now I prefer to go to cinemas and watch movies only.
