Aashiqui 3: No Deepika Padukone in Karthik Aryan's Aashiqui 3

- The name of the new actress to join the Bhatt camp.

While famous Bollywood producer Mahesh Bhatt has announced the actor name for the third part of his Aashiqui series, the actress name is yet to be sealed. Ever since the announcement of the film, there have been various speculations for Karthik Aryan's heroine. First Jennifer Winget's name was mooted, then Deepika Padukone's name came up for the film. But in a recent interview, Mahesh Bhatt clarified that Karthik Aryan will not be seen romancing Deepika Padukone in 'Aashiqui 3'.

In a recent interview to a media house, Mahesh Bhatt has categorically denied casting any actress for the film. Along with this, the makers have also revealed that they are looking for a new face for Aashiqui 3.

Keeping his word, Mahesh Bhatt said, 'We are still looking for a new face for Aashiqui 3. We want to launch new faces with this film. We plan to start shooting for Aashiqui 3 early next year. These days we are working on the script. Mahesh Bhatt's statement has made it clear that no actress has been finalized alongside Deepika Padukone for 'Aashiqui 3'. Now Anurag Basu has joined the Bhatt camp for the third film in the series and the film is directed by Anurag Basu.
