Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum mania might not live up to expectations, but if you're a Marvel fan, you might want to watch this movie. The films of the Marvel Universe are interconnected.
'Ant-Man and the Wasp: The Quantum Mania story begins in San Francisco. Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) is now living a normal life and has nothing special to do. He spends time with his daughter, romances his wife and strengthens his bond with his parents.
Scott's daughter Cassie Lange (Kathryn Newton) is all grown up and also has sinus symptoms. He also uses the Ant-Man suit and signs like his father. However, in the meantime, she becomes a mess.
Which leads Scott Lang, Casey, Hope, Hank, Janet to Quantum Rail. The villain 'Kang the Conqueror' is in the quantum realm.
Will Ant-Man and his team be able to stop Kang? How did Kang come to be? How did he get trapped in the quantum field? What is Janet's connection to Kang? For many such questions you have to watch 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania'.
Marvel's Phase 5 begins with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum mania. The cinematography is best by Bill Pope and the catchy music goes to Christopher Beck. The story of the film is quite simple this time, which is a good thing for the desi audience. That means you don't need to think too much. One thing that is very funny in the film is that the audience likes the way the character is built up before introducing the villain. Ant-Man 3 is a visual treat, as is now common for Marvel movies. Although we've seen better visual masterpiece films than this, Ant-Man 3 falls short even here.
The film is directed by Peyton Reed, who previously directed 'Ant-Man and the Wasp', though he hasn't quite succeeded in making the old magic work this time around. The film is almost 2 hours long, meaning no attempt is made to stretch the film, making every scene of the film feel connected and nothing feels redundant.
