The film received good response at the advance bookings but the film is facing criticism after the release. Negative comments abound on Twitter. Users are calling the VFX of the film's dialogues bad. The film's dialogue writer Manoj Muntshir and director Om Raut are being heavily trolled. Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut has also spoken about the film and its makers.

Kangana has shared many photos of Ram, Sita and Hanuman on Instagram. Along with this, the song 'Ram Ka Naam Badnam Na Karo' from the movie 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna' is playing in the background. Dev Anand and Zeenat Aman played the lead roles in this 1971 film. Many users on a social media platform associated Kangana's post with 'Adipurush'.

Adipurush received negative reviews

One user said, 'He must have said it smartly because the South Indian star's fans are dangerous.' A user wrote, 'I will fight with RK's fans but I don't want to die at the hands of Prabhas' fans.' One user wrote, 'Everyone is making fun, so she jumped herself. Otherwise, if there were good reviews, this too would have started.' 'Adipurush' was released yesterday in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The film collected 85 to 90 crores on the first day. Given the negative reviews the film has received, it remains to be seen how much it earns over the weekend.
