Mumbai: A plea has been filed in the Madras High Court demanding that the mind of director Lokesh Kangaraj be examined for making a violent film like 'Leo'. It has been three months since the film was released in theaters and it has also been released on OTT but now the petition has also demanded a ban on the film. The petition states that the film contains wanton violence, abuse of religious symbols. Drug abuse is encouraged and violence against children is also depicted implicitly.

The film shows that with the help of the police, all illegal activities, drug trafficking and weapons can be used in any way.

How such a film got the censor certificate should be investigated. Also director Lokesh Kangaraj's mind should be psychologically examined. This movie should be banned completely.

Apart from Vijay and Trisha Krishnan, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt. The film is said to have collected 650 crores worldwide.

Lokesh Kangaraj has taken a break from social media after the release of the film.
