Was Salman Khan bearing the cost of Saroj Khan's illness?

Saroj Khan's death in Mumbai on Friday has come as another shock to Bollywood. Saroj Khan was suffering from diabetes and was undergoing dialysis.

If the reports are to be believed, the entire cost of Saroj Khan's treatment was being borne by the Salman Khan Foundation. His sister Alvira also helped in Saroj Khan's treatment.

People connected with the film industry say that Salman is standing up for his needs. The actor, however, never mentioned the help from the media through the foundation. Salman's foundation is run by Salman Khan's sister Alvira Agnihotri and father Salim Khan.

Salman Khan also pays for the treatment of junior artists. Junior artist Saida said the cost of treating her cancer was borne by the Salman Foundation. Every bill for treatment from the doctor as well as the hospital is sent to Salman's foundation.
