According to Elena D'Cruz, living for oneself is not selfish

Actress Elena D'Cruz, who was stranded in Mumbai during a four-month lockout, has now flown to the US to visit her mother. "My family is in a state of disarray," she said. My father is in Goa, my sister in Australia and my mom in America. I hadn’t met my family in eight months.

The lockdown time was very difficult for the actress who was busy with her work. "My year has been as interesting as it has been difficult," he said.

Elena was in the spotlight last year due to a break-up with her photographer boyfriend Andrew Nibon. She continued the therapy session when she was alone during the lockdown. “I felt like I should continue the therapy session,” he says. He further says that the more exciting and easy it sounds to hear that therapy should be taken, the harder it is to implement. In Wali Lockdown, it was your turn to do it yourself.

But for the first time in my life I reached the stage where I should reach. Now I know where I wanted to go and how I can be better as a person. In the last four or five months, I have come to realize that we have forgotten ourselves. We oppress ourselves. But living a little for yourself is not selfish.

Elena adds that I have definitely benefited from the therapy session. I understood my problem. It takes a while for you to change. But you have to decide if you want to be kind to yourself or get out of your predicament.
