Veteran actress-cum MP Jaya Bachchan's statement that the entire film industry cannot be discredited because few people are taking drugs was supported by another senior actress MP Hema Malini.

On Tuesday, Jaya Bachchan appealed to the government in Parliament to stop people from talking about Bollywood. These people only get dirty in the dish they eat. The Bollywood that gave him a name and a price defames him.

It may be recalled here that top actress Kangana Ranaut slammed Bollywood, saying that if blood samples were taken from top actors, the whole world would soon know how many people were taking drugs. Bollywood is becoming like hell now. Bollywood was becoming like a filthy sewer.

Provoked by this, Jaya Bachchan said, "How can you call the Bollywood that gave you name and money a dirty sewer?" Kangana then retaliated by saying that even if your daughter Shweta is beaten like me or your son is seen hanging like Abhishek Sushant, you will express the same opinion.

Later, Bhojpuri film superstar Ravi Kish also criticized Jaya Bachchan.

Now today Hema Malini supporting Jaya said that I agree with Jaya. The whole industry cannot be discredited if a few people take drugs.
