An Israeli court has sentenced supermodel Bar Refali to nine months of community service for tax evasion. Anne's mother and agent Zippy Rafali have been sentenced to 18 months in prison. Both were convicted in July of embezzling િયન 10 million in revenue. Earlier in June, the mother and daughter showed willingness to pay taxes and a fine of ઢ 1.5 million. The mother and daughter were pictured in court wearing masks in keeping with the norms of the Kovid period. Bar's father was also present in court with an army of lawyers when the two were sentenced. But the lawyers' arguments had no effect on the court.
