Mumbai: South superstar Rajinikanth has retired from politics. He has disbanded his political party Rajni Makkal Mandram on Monday. Rajinikanth has also told party functionaries that he has no plans to return to politics in the future. He has taken this decision after discussing with the party functionaries. From now on, Rajinikanth's organization will do public service work in the name of Rajni Fan Club Association.
On December 6, Rajinikanth announced that he would stay away from politics due to ill health. He wrote a letter in Tamil saying that he would serve the people without contesting the elections. He said he did not want to get involved in politics as he was not in good health. They don’t even want to annoy their supporters. He also said that this decision will definitely disappoint the fans. But I'm sorry.
Rajinikanth has recently returned from the US after undergoing treatment. It is only after this that he has removed his party from politics and only displayed a desire to serve the masses. Doctors have advised him not to play stunt scenes anymore.
