Vicky Kaushal's stalled 'Ashwaththama' is back on track

Mumbai: Vicky Kaushal's 'The Immortals of Ashwatthama' is back on the stage. The shooting of this film is expected to start next year.

Earlier this film was stalled due to very tight budget. After one after another big budget films of Bollywood failed, the makers became worried about investing 200-300 crores behind this film and also with Vicky Kaioushal as the hero or not. At one stage, there were talks of signing other big heroes instead of Vicky Kaushal.

At that time Sara Ali Khan was decided as the heroine along with Vicky. But now South's hot heroine Samantha has replaced Sara.

Vicky Kaushal needed a big film on his own and was very keen on this film. Now it remains to be seen whether the shooting of the film will actually start at the scheduled time next year or not.
