Komal, sister of Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal, was booked by the Narcotics Control Bureau in a drug case.

He was summoned to appear before the bureau on Wednesday, January 6.

Bollywood's promising actor Sushant Singh Rajput's untimely demise raised the issue of the drug monster prevalent in Bollywood. Soon the Narcotics Control Bureau came to light.

Earlier, actress Riya and her brother were arrested and Riya was jailed for 15-20 days. The Narcotics Control Bureau then interrogated Shraddha Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan and other actors and also Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal.

Apart from being an actor, Arjun Rampal owns a hotel in the capital, New Delhi, where he was allegedly served drugs in addition to alcohol in a bar. So far, Arjun has been questioned twice. Gabriella Demetriades, who is also considered to be Annie's girlfriend, was also questioned.

Now her sister Komal was released. The bureau raided Arjun's house last November where some offensive drugs were found. Arjun was also questioned in the matter. Now Komal's turn was taken by the NCB. Komal was to be questioned today.

In an interview to a TV channel, actress Kangana Ranaut and actor Shekhar Sum said that drugs are widely used in Bollywood. The issue was also raised in Parliament. Senior actress-cum-MP Jaya Bachchan and later MP Hema Malini also protested on the issue. Both the actresses said that the whole of Bollywood cannot be discredited if four people are taking drugs.
